Black History Quiz Bowl

Game On at Eastside’s Black History Month Quiz Bowl


On Thursday, March 1st, the Social Studies Department at Eastside High School concluded a month-long celebration of Black History Month by hosting Jeopardy Style Quiz-Bowl.  Competing students showed off their understanding and knowledge of the many contributions made by African Americans in the categories of music, science, law, sports and civil rights.  Students from the School of Government won the contest with a winning score of 5900 points, taking home a Dunkin Donuts Gift Card and bragging rights!
