Media Center/Library
Welcome to the Eastside Library Media Center!
The Library Media Center is the information and resource hub for the three academies:
GoPA - School of Government and Public Administration,
CAHTS - School of Culinary Arts, Hospitality and Tourism
and SOIT- School of informational Technology
which are all housed on the Eastside Educational Campus. It provides resource materials and a place to read and study.
The goals of the Media Center are:
1. Help students develop the research skills needed in our information rich world.
2. Collaborate and support teachers curricular and research objectives.
3. Promote a lifelong interest in reading by providing when possible titles that cater to diverse backgrounds, interest and opinions.
Ms. Cruz, Library Media Specialist is pleased and eager to assist you with all of your academic needs. The Media Center is open to students before school, during lunch periods, after school and available to teachers throughout the day. Students doing work and research have priority use of the computers.
If the computers are reserved by teachers for class use, they will not be available for independent student use.
The Media Center has over 14,000 titles, 22 computers and many interactive databases, providing students with the resources and information they need for projects.
